ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE

Meets every third Tuesday, 8:00 a.m.
Coordinates efforts to retain and attract businesses to Hollywood. Comprised of volunteer members, the committee works closely with new developers and financial investors to ensure that community support is mobilized to gain approval for projects important to Hollywood’s revitalization. Sponsors periodic briefings for brokers on economic development projects in greater Hollywood, and coordinates annual Economic Summit.
TEAM HOLLYWOOD COMMITTEE

The Entertainment, Arts, & Media Committee, TEAM HOLLYWOOD mission is to promote the Hollywood brand with the intention of preserving Hollywood’s homegrown entertainment industries with a focus on film, broadcasting, commercials, television and performing arts. The Committee aims to cultivate new and emerging media so as to uphold Hollywood’s status as the entertainment capital of the world.

Addresses important health care issues facing Hollywood health care providers and educators, both legislatively and within the community. As one of the leading industries in the Hollywood community, the health care industry represents more than 10,000 jobs in Hollywood.

Monitors legislative actions at the local, state and federal levels, and works to identify, support or oppose legislation that may impact local businesses. The Chamber fights to protect the interests of Hollywood and your business.

Meets every other month on fourth Tuesday, 3:30 p.m.
These meetings provide inside information on topics and issues important to Hollywood’s tourism industries. Works to encourage and facilitate tourism in Hollywood by sponsoring special events, providing tourism demographics and supports projects to increase tourism. Guest speakers and presentations by industry leaders keep members informed of cutting-edge trends and opportunities.

The Heroes of Hollywood Event Planning Committee is comprised of members of the Hollywood Chamber who are event volunteers and have proven to be community leaders themselves.
