Four hundred people attended the 7th annual Heroes of Hollywood Luncheon, held at the Taglyan Complex to raise funds to support Hollywood nonprofit organizations. Honorees included Assistant LAPD Chief Bea Girmala, John Lyons, Baydsar Thomasian, Pink’s Hot Dog, Donelle Dadigan and Nancy O’Dell.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation awarded $40,750 in grants to 29 community organizations.

Flowers were placed on the stars of past Walk of Fame honorees who passed away during the year.

The 23rd annual Hollywood Police and Firefighters Appreciation BBQ was held at Hollywood Division station, where several hundred of Hollywood’s public safety officials received a meal provided by Chamber members and volunteers.

The Chamber funded the LAPD’s annual National Night Out program to show community support for fighting crime.

An enthusiastic crowd attended the Chamber Foundation’s All Hallows Eve fundraiser at Hollywood Forever, which provided families an opportunity to enjoy the holiday while raising funds for the Foundation.
