Merchants Urged to Remain Open on Halloween
At a meeting
this week with the LAPD and Hollywood
Entertainment District, merchants were urged to
remain open on Halloween evening to take
advantage of the large crowds coming to
Hollywood. The police will again have a
significant presence to ensure public safety. A
new city ordinance last year helped to curb
perennial problems with Silly String, and the
police also enforced regulations against illegal
food vendors. Even though there are no official
Halloween activities in Hollywood, thousands of
people show up every year to walk the
streets. Take advantage of this opportunity!
