Brothers Vahe and Harry Karamardian Sandella’s Flatbread Café

In June 2007 my brother Harry Karamardian and I signed a lucrative franchise deal to open 50 plus Sandella’s Flatbread Cafés throughout Los Angeles County. As we looked for our first location, we had no hesitation at all to start this concept in Hollywood. The main reason for this was due to what we had heard about the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce. After meeting with one of the Chamber’s representatives, I was convinced of their commitment to support small businesses in the area. It has been over four months since we first opened, and I can’t express how many times the Hollywood Chamber staff has been here for us. They’ve been by our side, supporting us through their massive networking possibilities and many other services every day. Especially in today’s challenging economy, I encourage any small business owner to not think twice about joining the Hollywood Chamber.

The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce is proud to welcome actor John Cusack to the Hollywood Walk of Fame as he is set to receive his star on Tuesday, April 24th at 11:30 a.m. in front of Larry Edmunds Bookshop. In his latest role, Cusack stars as the infamous author Edgar Allen Poe in Relativity’s upcoming stylish, gothic thriller The RavenIn theatres April 27th, the macabre and lurid tales of Poe are vividly brought to life and death, when a madman begins committing horrific murders inspired by Poe’s darkest works. Directed by James McTeique (V for Vendetta) from a screenplay by Hannah Shakespeare (Loverboy) & Ben Livingston (Bruce Almighty). The Raven was produced by Film Nation’s Aaron Ryder, Intrepid Pictures’ Marc D. Evans and Trevor Macy.
